Chelsea 1 - 2 Liverpool

To sum up. POOR GAME!

Every time we entertain Liverpool, it always reminds me of the game which Jesper Gronkjaer scored the goal which started the Abramovich evolution. Let us take some time to reminisce it.

Alright, back to the game. Chelsea were poor in the first half. We were obviously lacking a "defence splitting pass" midfield player in the team to provide for Costa.  Fabregas was at the bench. There's also no leader out in the pitch. We will missing John Terry as there was no one commanding the defence line which lead to the 1st goal being scored. 2nd goal by Liverpool was a wonder! Nobody to close Henderson who had a fine shot which Courtios has no way of saving it.

We woke up in the second half. Sudden burst of speed from Matic lead to the goal for "The Beast". That's 5 goals already for him in as many games of the new season. We tried to attack but couldn't break down the Liverpool defence. I believe if Fabregas had come on earlier, we might have a chance to equalise. Next few games will be critical against the top teams. Hopefully we can get some positive results.

Chelsea 1-1 Burnley

The game was virtually over when Matic was sent off. Chelsea was attacking, attacking and attacking until this unfortunate incident happen.

I thought the tackle was, like what the commenter says in the Fifa game "mistimed rather than reckless", but it could have broken Matic's leg.

Chelsea will have a problem come Sunday, League Cup final vs Spurs.

Double Happiness

Dreams come true! Super Frankie has become Chelsea's all-time leading scorer at 203 goals, beaten Bobby Tambling's 202 goals! Keeping fingers crossed that we will be seeing him again next season in a Chelsea shirt.

Well...just to relieve some of the pressure ahead of our Europa League final, our spot in the prestigous european competition next season is firmly secured. Sorry Mr AVB, just admit it, you are just not good enough to manage Chelsea, no point dwelling over the past of being sacked and replaced by RDM who won us the holy grail.

Now looking forward to having a page in the historical book come Wednesday.........

2nd successive European Cup final

AMSTERDAM, HERE WE COME!!!!

2nd successive European Cup final! Though it's just a 'second tier' European Cup, what makes it special is that Chelsea has never won this trophy before. We are on our way to add another trophy into our cabinet!

Tonight belongs to;

"SIDESHOW BOB"

Frank Lampard let loose the ball to "Sideshow bob", who steadied himself and unleashed a beautiful curled effort into the top-left hand corner!

And to cap off a great month of April, our tactician master grab the Manager of the month award! Congrats!

Cudicini off to US

Cudicini was one of the finest goalkeepers in English football during his time. He voted the Chelsea's Player of the Year in 2003 and the 'Golden Gloves' award as the best goalkeeper in England the following year. A player who cost 160,000 pounds from Castel di Sangro (3rd Div club). This is a remarkable achievement during a time where expensive signings failed to live up to their expectations.

Thanks again Carlo, All the best!

3 lucky points in the bag taking us to within 11 points behind Man Utd going into the end of year 2012. Everton had the better of the battle with the post serving as our saviour.

However, the night belongs to our very own legend, Frank Lampard! His performance serves as a warning that he still has what it takes to be at the very top of the game. How about that for another 1 goal to equal Bobby Tambling's 202 goals?

Mr Roman, are you watching?
